Catching My Son (1)

Years ago, I came across a story entitled "Inspired by the Son" that was one of the hottest stories I'd ever read. I kept going back to it over and over again, rereading it. I even emailed the author, letting him know how much I loved it. We corresponded some over the years. Recently, I went looking for it again, and can't find it online anymore. I tried emailing the author, but the email bounced back. Sadly, when I googled his email address, I found his obituary. He passed away a couple of years ago.
