Fuck, I didn't want to be at this meeting! My company had given me the added perk (yeah, right) of building my resume by serving on a community advisory board. Once a month for the year of my tenure, we were to meet and offer advice to the city council about community improvement projects. Now, I was walking into my first of these meetings, hating the very idea of wasting my time in this way!
