My phone buzzed with a text message alert as I stepped off the cruise ship. We had arrived in Juneau just an hour before. After eating lunch on the ship, we were set to disembark for our first stop and shore excursion. Unfortunately, immediately after lunch, my wife had begun feeling sick, and we walked back to our stateroom so she could lay down.
